The Winegrower:
Katrin Štoka

Creative Mind.
Winemaker by Choice.
Unconventional by Nature.
My background is in architecture and graphic design — disciplines that taught me how to see structure, balance, tension, and beauty. Today, I apply that same vision to vineyards, wines, and experiences.
For me, wine is not only agriculture.
It is a creative language.
Wine as Expression,
Not as Formula
I do not follow recipes.
I follow the land.
Each season is different. Each ferment teaches something new. My work is to listen, not to force. Intervention is minimal because trust is essential — trust in the vineyard, in time and in natural processes.
Imperfection, when it comes from nature, is not a flaw.
It is identity.
From Product
to Experience
I do not only make wine.
I create experiences, atmospheres and emotional connections.
Design, communication, events, hospitality, storytelling — these are not side projects. They are part of the same vision:
turning wine into memory, not just consumption.
A Global Language Rooted
in One Place
I speak many languages.
But the most important one is still the language of the land.
Through wine, art, and nature, I connect people from different cultures in one shared moment. At Klin, the Breg becomes a meeting point — where borders disappear and only human experience remains.
From the Edge
Klin stands on the edge of stone and sea.
And I stand on the edge between discipline and intuition, control and surrender, design and nature.
That is where I feel most alive.
That is where my wine is born.
Wine of wind, stone and sea.
